Why Don't You Have a Website?

Recently I've seen a strange trend of companies without a website. It seems that a growing number of small businesses rely on Facebook pages instead of having their own websites. This may seem convenient and cost-effective, but it limits your online presence and potential customers.

Facebook pages are not optimised for Google search, so you miss out on a lot of traffic and visibility. Plus, your Facebook page may not be accessible to everyone, especially on mobile devices where users must log in to the app or the mobile site.

Your website is your digital storefront and your best marketing tool. It gives you the opportunity to showcase your brand, products, and services to a broader audience. Studies show that 75% of people judge a business by its website and that having a website can boost your revenue by 15-50%.

If you want to maximise reach then don't just settle for just a Facebook page. A website gives you that professional edge over and above a local Facebook page.

So, it's obvious that you need a website... How do you go about it?

I Can Help

I worked in a successful digital agency in Leeds for over 20 years, heading the technical team working on, and creating complex and beautiful websites for companies such as Alton Towers, Machine Mart, Matalan, Phaidon Books and Santander to name a few.

During this time I learnt about every single aspect of creating a website which will engage with your customers, showcase your company and its products and make more sales. All this while being super easy to update so that your content will be fresh and relevant, exactly what the search engines are looking for.

Yes It's Daunting

Putting your trust in someone to create your website is a daunting task and often perceived as a massive expense. Effective sites do not have to be graphical masterpieces, the world's most successful websites are simple in nature, following a strict formula with the correct selling points and calls to action to maximise the message to your user.

Providing you have some good imagery (or can take some with your camera phone) and can write some good content (I can guide you through this) then I can build your perfect site, perfectly structured for Google ready for your customers to find you.

What About the Cost?

obviously, it depends on the size of your website, the intricacy of the design, interactive elements and any integrations required, but the cheapest of my recent site builds came in at around £1500 for a bespoke site tailored to your needs, with full content management included.
