Mayflower Entertainment Group was launched with a clear mission: to provide top-quality function bands, solo acts, and DJs for events across the UK. The founders were passionate about promoting young talent and offering live performances at competitive rates. They wanted a site that reflected their energy, professionalism, and commitment to quality.

They approached me to create a site that would reflect their energy, professionalism, and commitment to quality. I chose Umbraco CMS for its flexibility and scalability, allowing us to build a clean, premium-feeling platform that could grow with the business.

The site launched to glowing feedback. The owners were thrilled. It captured their brand perfectly and gave them a polished platform to promote their acts. It was a collaborative build, with plenty of back-and-forth to get the tone and layout just right.

As sometimes happens, the founders’ career paths shifted. The business didn’t receive the ongoing updates they’d originally planned, and the site remains largely unchanged. While it’s no longer actively maintained, it still stands as a solid example of how a clear brief and strong collaboration can produce something great.
