A clean, confident first website for a brand‑new accountancy business

When Martyn Land launched Effective Accountancy, he needed a website that would immediately communicate trust, clarity and professionalism. As this was a brand‑new business, the project involved creating the firm’s first online presence, something that felt established from day one while remaining simple for Martyn to manage as the business grows.

I built the site using WordPress and Elementor, giving Martyn a clean, intuitive interface to update content, publish new pages and keep everything organised without needing technical experience. The structure focuses on what matters most to potential clients: who Martyn helps, the services he offers, and how to get in touch quickly.

The written content was provided by Nikki Wallace, ensuring the tone of voice reflected the way Martyn works with his clients. The logo and brand styling was created by Sophie Hutchinson, giving the business a modern, friendly and professional look.

Photography was shot by Andy Hopkinson, adding personality and approachability to the site through high‑quality imagery.

Alongside the website design and build, I also provide ongoing hosting, maintenance and monthly off‑site backups, giving Martyn peace of mind that the site is secure, monitored and protected. This ensures the website stays fast, up to date and running smoothly while he focuses on growing the business.
